Knob scaling in firmware 1.3.0!

...I noticed on Loopop's video that he changed the knob behaviour to scaling. Confused as to why I couldn't find the option (he's in the MIDI CONFIG page).

Then I noticed that he's running fx 1.3.0 (see around 7.30 in his video - fw version is top right), and the public release is 1.2.1 (at least, that's what mine updated to yesterday).

So more tweaks to come. Including scaling, thankfully, because I'm finding the default takeover mode a bit annoying already.

I also went looking for this and noticed the same thing

The knob "catch" mode on the SP404 mk2 which works the same also annoys me... I get why in a performance you don't want it just jumping settings around... but it unnecessarily encumbers so many processes when you just have to jog the knob cc/ccw to just grab the cursor :/

Seems we’ll get ‘scaling’ as an option (as seen in the Loopop video), which lives the know as soon as you turn it, slower until it catches the value. I like that, Ableton Live has that for MIDI controls, it’s the one I like better than jumping or catch up.
