Can someone answer me this simple question about the sample

I can't get a straight answer to this question anywhere so here goes.

OK so the Sample has a loop mode where I can trigger say, an ambient loop by hitting a pad and it'll play indefinitely.

Can I therefore apply an envelope to that loop so when I trigger note off from the pad it'll decay away slowly ( like the SM404 mk2 can )

With the current firmware... if you have a sample set to LOOP, it'll end as soon as you trigger it a second time.

Would be great if Release was an option for loops indeed! Decay works, I'm not too keen on it, as it stops the loop...
