Obviously still getting my head around this.
I like the 'Seq' record length option, but I can't find a way to trigger sample record on the first pass of the sequence.
It's an issue when I have a longish song (112 bars at 87bpm) and want to overlay some new performances on new pads.
The only options I can find are:
1) Manually trigger sample recording & sequence play at the same time*
2) play sequence, hit sample record/pad, wait for the loop
Does anyone know a way to cue up the sample/pad recording so that it'll kick in straight away (and ideally with a count-in), or is this currently not possible?
(*I haven't actually checked properly whether this has any issues for sample length - ie as one or the other 'start trigger' will probably be very slightly ahead of the other, does this cause any issues? If the record threshold is set as low as possible, it seems to trigger straight away once the target pad is hit, so as long as the record length is quantized then I think it should be OK.)
