This is a fundamental limitation of the modern MPC3 ecosystem (until recently nothing other than 4/4 was available). The normal workaround is to work with a 1/8 or 1/4 time signature where 1 beat = 1 bar, but this is not possible on the MPC Sample as it offers neither option.

Even this is a limitation to what used to be possible on MPCs.

- Individual chop volume adjustments would be nice!

- Loop mode doesn't seems to wokrk on chop mode as well, wich would be much appreciated!

An amazing update possiblility would be to convert the step edit page into a more tracker like step sequencer like renoise or protracker 2.

The Sample doesn't need to be bloated with too many features.

I Agree. They really need to revisit the export stem system. 1 at a time is not cool at all.

Don't know if this is a fundamental limitation given the price point, but I'd love to be able to somehow access all MIDI notes. I get that it's a simple machine, but why give an MPC of all machines such limited MIDI note scale?
I wanna hook up my S950 to this thing and not be limited by the note range.

Would love to see some more basic Step Edit editing features, like the ability to change the pad of a certain event, midi tune and duration of the note/ event. And the more classical “Move Event” feature.

KInd of wish we had individual FX per pad and also an option to resample just a specific pad rather than the whole sequence. It would also be useful to rotate sequences and hotcue at certain points the sequences too. I've also come across running out voices where notes begin to cutoff but that's not too much of an issue. The master bus compressor is horrible btw I really hope they update that as it generally distorts. Nevertheless it's a very good portable device. However, software improvements are needed.
