MPC Sample not updating with Browser (Linux)

Greetings All,

I'm posting a solution to a firmware update problem with the MPC Sample and KDE Plasma (Manjaro/Arch).
I was not able to update firmware through: mpc-sample.local on any browser.

My Solution:
1. Connect MPC Sample to your computer via USB and turn it on
2. Add another wired connection and restrict it to, in my case, USB0 (save the connection)
3. Open any browser and start a private window session, for good measure
4. type in the address bar: mpc-sample.local
5. Update as usual

Good to know, I thought it wasn't possible to update it in Linux. That's one less thing stopping me from getting one.

Have to use the ip address on my Mac, mpc-sample.local doesn't work for me.

Same on my iPad. It gave me a “not secure” message but I went ahead and it worked as expected. I got an error message saying to reboot my Sample but that happened before. All is well! ✌
