Hello All ...

I'd like to expand my collection of Sampled Sounds and add to my library. Any ideas where I can acquire good quality samples either for free, or at a minimal cost (without compromising on quality) ?

Also ... I own a Maschine 3 Mikro. Can any of my Sounds from there be imported into my MPC Sampler? That would really help expand my library. If possible, some pointers as to how to accomplish this would help.

TIA.

I hate to be that guy but…. It’s a sampler. Sampling is free. Sample away!

Thx!! Actually I should have been a little more clearer ...

Are the samples bundled with the Maschine Mikro 3 in wav or any usable format such that I can just copy them from my ssd onto an sd card & then use them in my MPC SAMPLER? I'm trying to avoid going the route of digital-analog-digital conversion by actually playing it and recording the sample via the MPC SAMPLE's input jack.

afaik the kontakt intruments are multisamples (you can´t export them easy), so you have to autosample them to use em on your rocket.
drumlibraries can be converted with kitmaker into different formats.
synths are realtime-generated and contain little to no samples at all.

I managed to rummage around and found Native Instruments Library "wav" files under the following folder structure:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Maschine 2 Factory Selection Library\Samples\Drums\Kick

The last subfolders are as: Clap, Combo, Cymbal, HiHat, Kick, Percussion, Shaker, etc.

All stored as wav's.

This way I can directly use the stored wav file samples instead of re-sampling them which would slightly deteriorate the quality owing to Digital-Analog-Digital re-conversions.

Hope this helps someone down the line. :)

Yep, grab those waves and try 'em in your sampler.
