Not sure if anyone else experienced this, but I connected my MPC sample to line inputs 3 and 4 on my Focusrite 4i4 and can't hear any audio. However, when I connect lines 1 and 2 on the front of the Scarlett, it plays without problem. I used AI, and it told me the MPC sample has a fixed level line input, and since you can't adjust the gain in lines 3 and 4 on the Focusrite, it is unable to amplify the sound from the MPC sample enough to produce audible volume. Huh? I use these same outputs for MPC X and MPC keys with no issue. AI said it's because these devices have a higher output. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am using a MAC studio by the way

I have a 4i4 here and it works fine, maybe a little low but I get the same from my behringer Lm-Drum. Have you checked for obvious stuff that we all miss from time to time within the control software? I can take a proper look after work later.

I've had a few devices that behave... oddly... when connect with each other over audio, giving somewhat similar results. When adding a ground loop isolator into the connection it will sometimes solve the issue.

Didn't deep dive the problem enough to actually figure it out on my end... and don't have a 4i4 myself to test... but if you've got an in line audio ground loop isolator on hand it might be worth digging up and just trying to see if it might solve the issue.

Thx, bro. Actually did some research and playing around, and it appears the focusrite 4i4 will only output audio from the mpc sample, specifically when using inputs 1 &2. So, I moved some things around and connected it there! Thx again

That's odd, which generation of the 4i4 do you have?
