New functionality idea - midi note overlay on samples

I would really like a notegrabber (midi note overlay) type functionality in my MPC. It overlaps the midi notes on a sample so we can add instrumentation in a sample but grabbing and manipulating the midi. The MPC information they give you on a sample key and notes isn't up to modern standards...shouldn't be hard to do...particularly on the new processor for live 3 and xl
