It got the 3.7.1 update as well. They just put it in the "Older OS" section & most people missed it. I told they're Ai bot about it & it confirmed that it's a mistake. It also wouldn't pop-up like to DL it like normal, but 3.8 did.

I think this something they're working on or at least is should be as the Force would make an amazing controller. Even better than the g2 MPCs in some ways better of 8x8 pads & 8 knobs with screen & 8 function buttons.

Good to hear, I’m waiting on my replacement Force to come in the mail. 3.8 so far works well for me on my MPC for what I’m doing. A few more bug fixes and I’m a happy camper.
TriggerFX is a joy on the X with all the q links, Force should be close.

What bugs you got?
I haven't used it but the TriggerFX seems like MPC version of The Pad FX that what was once a Force only feature that's now on the gen 2 MPCs, but you can use the 16 function buttons that are not pressure & velocity sensitive like the Force 64 pads:

PAD FX on MPC Sample reside on the main out.
Trigger FX on MPC / PAD FX on MPC Sample are the same thing (v3.8.0 compatibility).
The Force vid shown above is a series of built from scratch macros that do the same thing but with much more flexibility (because they are robust macros) than MPC's PAD FX.
These macros can also be done on MPC's.

OK but can the MPC play the Pad FX from the drum pads or only the 16 step buttons? Last time I asked the answer was no.

MPC Sample can play them natively from pads.
MPC XL from touch screen and q-links only (better feel and precision w/ q-links imo).
For MPC, macros exactly like those in the Force video would be used for pad play.

When did they add the ability to play them from the pads & why isn't that features more popular?
Before when they first added this to the MPC in 3.5 or whatever, it could only play it from the screen & the 16 step buttons which both lack the benefits of pressure & velocity sensitivity. I haven't seen nobody MPC users show this off & I would think the would as it's a very powerful & cool feature.

Why isn’t it more popular since macros made it possible a long while back, my guess is people are always wanting “quick” “fast” shit and don’t take time to dig into the bigger features.
Some people are just content with basic features, macros on top of macros on top of macros isn’t something that suites most people. Lots of people think “more is less” and don’t bother. I know a few people who want the latest and then don’t bother with advanced combinations of features/options.
