Hey guys,

I can't seem to find a way to set up my new DRM1 the way I want with the MPC X.

I want the 8 track drum kit of the DRM1 to be able to be triggered by seperate tracks on the MPC X.

Basically I wan't to make a template to have this ready to go. Right now the only thing I'm able to do is sample the DRM1 but it's a lot of work to clean up every sample. I had in mind of being able to tweak the DRM1 while everything is being sequenced by the MPC.

Right now I can't even get the DRM1 drum tracks on pads on the MPC.

I'm pretty new to all this so I'm in search for some knowledge on this topic from some more seasoned Synth/MPC-heads.

Hit me up if you know how to help me out , thanks! :-)

USB output from Vermona to the MPC X USB A input. Vermona should now pop up under midi as an instrument option.Or you can go the old school route and use a midi cable from MPC X A B C or D output to the Vermona midi input.

Set midi channels how you want them on Vermona. 1-8 , midi channels 1-8 for each drum unit.

See Vermona manual how to do that.

Midi Channel 10 looks like the default channel to control all drums on Vermona.

Thank you for your reply Delphinus.

I've done all you said previously exactly as you said it, and I've been succesful at linking my DRM1 with other midi keyboards/sequencers, but not the MPC. Once the DRM1 is in "learn mode" you need to trigger that part of the kit you want with a corresponding key or button, whatever. I've created 8 midi tracks on the MPC, each with a different midi channel, but I can't find how to trigger my DRM1 with the MPC to make the "handshake". Know what I mean?
