There are so many great plugins. I fear that many of them are way too CPU hungry to run on even a gen2 MPC.

I have added the "Character" to the list just because it's quite old and so I assume it has a chance to be portable.

Nope.

NI bought up iZotope, Braionworx AND Plugin Allliance (around 2021 IIRC). So inMusic owns now all four companies.

For some reason folks here mainly think of Maschine and Kontakt when their hear NI, but NI was much bigger than that for years.

It's a shame that the private equity owners of NI came up with no better idea to solve problems around 2020. Instead of focusing on their own products, customers and strengths they simply bought other companies.
