Transitioning between songs for live play OS 3.8

Hey all! I've had my MPC for less than a month and im totaly new to the MPC world, previously i had a Circuit Tracks where it was werry easy and seamless to transition from one track to another, but on os 3.8 on the MPC im nearly pulling my hair out trying to figure out how i can switch between songs seamlessly without needing to load the next porject in. Ive read that on os 2 this was pretty simple since each sequence changed the drumpads samples (i might be wrong here). Ive also read that you hafto copy everything yourself now and put them into the "Live project" one by one so that you have multiple songs in one project but i couldnt get it to work for the life of me, or maybe im just too picky since id love for my kick samples to always be in the 1 pad. I have my drums in the first 4 pads.

Is it possible to have multiple tracks (2-4) in one project to seamlesly transition between them? Is it possible to say have sequence 1 for bank A and sequence 2 for bank B samples so that bank A and B play different songs? Or do i need something external to get that "seamless transition" wheil the next project is loading on the mpc?

A simple approach is to use tracks 1 to n for song 1, tracks n+2 to m for song 2 etc. So all your samples can stay on bank A.

If you want to use only one drum track you need to place samples of song one on bank A, those of song 2 on B etc. I cannot say if this will save you much recources (memory and CPU).

In either approach you will have a transition sequence with sounds from the current and the upcoming song.

Beware that some instruments and effects are limited in the number of instances.

Welcome to OS 3.X! It might seem weird but previous OS on the MPC did not have this problem.

You could have sequence A with any drum programs or keygroups you wanted, then sequence B with a completely different set of drum programs and keygroups on each tracks. Now the MPC imposes that every tracks are shared on all sequences ,which is bad for people who want to use sequences as songs. There is no fix to that problem only bad workarounds ,and AKAI itself introduced that problem that did not exist before, by deciding to put the AKAI Force OS on the MPC (because that's what 3.X is, the Force OS).

Anyway, what you can do is simply fill all track slots until you run out of tracks and that's it.

Render all your songs to wav reload them as audio tracks make one blank program and pose off while the set plays, they'll pay you thousands.
