Hi to you all, I´m a Newbie when it comes to MPC. I got myself an MPC Sample and played around. I must say, I have a lot of fun. I would say that I understand the main features and the workflow (and sampled a lot of cool stuff off my record collection ;)

BUT: I can't sync my samples. Youtube-Tutorials didn't work. So I got to ask someone how knows MPC:

How do I tell the MPC to match Every sample to the same BPM oder Beat?
Is there a trick? I´m missing something?

Thanks you!
Markus

If you mean making loops follow the sequence BPM, first make sure the loop is trimmed perfectly.

Then, in the Tune screen, use Shift + K3 to set the correct number of beats in the loop (for example, a 1-bar loop should be set to 4 beats). After that, turn K3 to "Seq" and the loop will sync to the sequence tempo.

By default it uses pitch-changing warp, but you can switch to time-stretch warp with Shift + Pad 15 if you want the pitch to stay unchanged.

Hi Elijah,
Thanks for your help. I tried this in my break in Night Shift. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. I think I have to try again when I have some more time.
Thanks again!
