Your activation key works for ay version of MPC Software 2.x, but you separately need the correct drivers for the MPC Studio 2. These were probably not included in 2.8 as it was likely released before the Studio 2 existed, so you'll need to find the driver separately. however, I suspect there isnt one for Windows 7.
