Hi, I'm working on a MPC1000/JJOS2XL 3.84, and tried to control crossfades between layer 1 and 2 of a certain pad by poly pressure coming from an external midi controller. But it seems to me that JJOS is not responding to incoming poly pressure messages – anybody has made a different experience?
Thanks for any advice!

mmm im not really sure but i always thought it was channel aftertouch, not poly aftertouch... i might be wrong tho... or perhaps it only works on the actual pads and not on incoming midi? have to do some tests...

Check the JJ OS midi spec for poly aftertouch in.

Also in the midi page check to see everything is enabled it might be filtered by default.

On a side note, if you want to use the pads to send channel aftertouch, you need a blank Instrument programs, the drum programs are poly aftertouch.
