I'm intrigued to see if they are going to implement MPCe on the smaller pads (assuming it still has the smaller pads). Finger drumming with 4 zones on those compact pads could prove to be quite challenging. Similarly, will be be implementing the step seq buttons (potentially less of a problem on a big unit like the key 37).
Interestingly there doesn't appear to be anything on the FCC site for this, not sure how they are able to bypass this requirement unless it is somehow just classed as a minor revision of the original unit (or it has no wifi/bluetooth). But I'm not expert on FCC requirements.

Maybe the Sample just delayed a new One for a longer time. I don't see the Sample as a replacement. The One was most likely the best seller, so I doubt they wouldn't make a gen2 model, but dropping it now would cut into the sells of the L3, not so much with the Keys.

yup def makes sense that the Sample delayed the One, so probably the replacement for the One wont drop until next year now.

there was also AMPCONEG2 page this morning though. I've said multiple times already that most likely key37g2 will be the first one to come out as it's the only one that never been removed from the firmware, even for one point update. It's also the only one with "Open ACVR2 Hardware Emulation Window" function implemented.

A Key II with Force style launch pads linked to Clip Launch would interest me, but I sold my K37 as the included keyboard mostly got in the way of getting tk the various buttons. Better for me to have a midi keyboard for when I need it and a “normal” MPC.

They also had a page for the gen2 MPC One for $800, both are now gone:

At this rate we may get a Force-2 by Xmas

FORCE2 (ADA2S) was added very recently (around march) in mpc sample firmware (1.21 iirc), so I think it will be the last one of them to ship

Well damn there goes my money. F2 would be nice with the quad core, two gen 1 devices together get pretty loaded up with EDM plug-ins and FX.

dats a good price for a next gen MPC One, I was expecting it to be $1000 minimum, hopefully there have been no significant spec changes far as CPU and RAM.

MPC Key 37 G2 is a next-generation standalone MPC keyboard synthesizer built for producers and beatmakers who write on keys but rely on the speed and precision of the MPC workflow. Visually inspired by the iconic cream colorway of original MPCs from the late '80s, it combines a 37‑key synth‑action keybed with pitch and mod wheels, legendary MPC pads, and a powerful standalone production engine to bring melody, harmony, rhythm, and sampling into a single instrument.
Powered by MPC3 OS and a new G2 8‑core processor delivering four times the performance of the previous generation, MPC Key 37 G2 enables larger sessions, 16 audio tracks for recording vocals to external synths, and 32 plugin instances for deeper instrument capability. Increased RAM and internal storage allow projects to load faster and run smoothly, no matter how complex.
At the center of the workflow is a 7‑inch multitouch display running MPC3’s modern track‑based environment and Linear Arranger, designed to help producers move beyond loops and build complete songs entirely in hardware. Sampling from phones, tablets, and external gear via USB‑C makes it easy to capture ideas and instantly turn them into playable instruments.
With one‑cable USB‑C connectivity for audio, MIDI, and data, MPC Key 37 G2 integrates effortlessly into hybrid studios while remaining fully standalone for distraction‑free creation. Combining expressive playability, modern standalone power, and processing performance, MPC Key 37 G2 is the MPC made for keys players ready to take on full productions.
