I don't see the point of the pads, but the strings do sound nice... But Studio Strings does the job for me already.
What audience is targeted by this small strings romple at 29€, when MPC Instruments Collection including Studio Strings is currently on sale at 99€ (with OPx4 and the whole Fabric too) ?

I'll have to check these out.
I have quite a few Spitfire instruments on my Mac - they are freaking lovely. I know the MPC versions won't quite have the power of their Kontakt libraries, but I'm glad to see Spitfire as an option for the MPC.

Cheap high quality sample libraries are an Akai conspiracy to sell Gen 2 MPC !

I'm going to guess it's ultimately a RAM limitation, these instruments are likely using up around 400MB of memory for each instance.

By the way, are those Spitfire Audio directly downloaded & activated on the MPC, or do they require "inMusic Software Center" which, to my dismay, is not available on Linux ?

Judging by the demos, these sound very impressive (as you would expect from spitfire) but I was expecting something a little more elaborate. I thought they would also have much better gui (I know it's what it sounds like that matters) something like the air strings.
