Dudes

When I saw that the MPC4k came with a piano roll screen I was well excited as on the MPC2K i had to keep altering numerical Duration values to get notes to the desired length.

I was under the impression that you could visually extend or decrease note lengths from within the piano roll screen - just like you can do in Logic, Cubase etc.

However I have gone into that screen and can see no way of doing it, apart from opening another window and again adjusting numerical Duration values.

Is there a way? And if so, what is it?

Thanks

yeah well.. thats a pain really. Like you said, you can see the lenght of the notes but you cant edit them visually. You need to select them visually and edit them numerically.

Or there is another method wich I dont know of, but I dont think so..

I think that too.The only way is to set numeric amount.BTW Akai should think of a mouse-based editing sometime. This will help a lot.
