Memory Leak?

i have a mpc one + and i love it.
one thing, which annoys me is the memory preassure.
but: maybe it´s me, who does something wrong?
when i make a drumtrack and build a sequence, i often scroll trough other drumsets to see, if something catches my attention.
a.k.a happy accidents.
in my understanding, the actual loaded drumset should be freed from memory and the new loaded drumset should have enough room in the ram to load.
after 8 or 9 sets i get the low memory message.
workaround is, to save the project, trigger "new project" and reload.
then there is enough space again to interate the next batch of sets.
this behavior smells like memory leak to me.
or i miss some crucial step somehow.

The RAM is being share with the OS which takes up about 1GB of RAM. You may have too many long samples that should be set to stream to disk. You may also have a bunch of files on the internal SD that should be moved or deleted. Check the sample pool to see if unused sample are still there taking up space.

ALways been this kind of behaviour even with MPC2, memory never quite freed up until you start a new project, sometimes only after a full reboot.

i´ll write a ticket, i think. this is something the devs should know.

It does purge samples but it rarely returned the MPC to the original boot up memory usage, it was always a few % higher. TBH haven't checked this recently, but certainly was definitely a problem in MPC2 and early MPC3.
