MPC X repeat function on chords does arpeggios not chord

Anybow… is there a way to use Note Repeat to do stabs of a chord in Pad Perform mode?

Jokes are meant to be funny to others. Neither example of your jokes were funny. The pink dildo just seemed like you were trying to be edgy, it also didn't make sense because pink or whatever color dildos wouldn't make sense on a MPC - so it's like what's up that?

The hip-hop comment didn't seem like a joke at all, but more like trolling. Your dry humor isn't getting picked up well - which is common with that style online, you know your intent of your text, we just see what your wrote. If were you're just joking you should make that know if people are jumping on you instead of defending what you said which people will take it as you meant it & not just joking. The guy you blocked probbly thought you was trolling & trolled you back.

There is no way. tThe arp doesn't do chords, it will always separate notes. Instead of waiting for Akai to to never update the arp, buy a pro micro ($3-$10 ) and vibe code your own arp. In 2 days , you'll have the arp of your dreams. Or if you want to go the premium route, buy a blokas midihub. The arp is great stock but can be customized to infinite possibilities.

I don't use the Arp but maybe to can MIDI Send one track to another & transpose it in the track settings. Has anyone tried that?
I'm gonna see if it works with 16 Levels.

Ha , thanks. But if I told you the amount of resource intensive madness I have spent trying to solve this problem you would call me insane. I’m on my 7th iteration of a custom midi controller and 4th iteration of software to try and solve this issue. Pcbs, 3d printers , cnc machines and all. A fun project but highly illogical for a simple task

just tune those 8 layers differently and you have a full chord, then engage the arp

In the drum track editor you can have each layer play with a delayed off-set. This can be a cool thing. I'll try it later.

I guess you should just buy a Midi Production Center 60 because that surely will be able to note repeat chords with its pad chord mode…. Wtf

Good idea, unfortunately though I want to do this with synths not melodic samples in drum kits.

this is what i thought, too, but once you hit Note Repeat it will go back to arpeggiating
