Limited workaround, but working out great for me in my current expansion project which required two layers with independent decay control

Set layer 1 level to 0.
Mod matrix, modulate layer 1 level with auxillary envelope

Repeat on other layers with any other spare envelope (filter, pitch, ramp...)

maybe if they add the hability of independent settings for keygroup inside the keygroup like in the legacy keygroups.

He shows the installation, how it works (or some things don’t) and I think pretty much in the last 5th of the video he plays around with patches. :hmmm:

Yes, yes, there are great synths already there, but having this at the core opens a new world of possibilities...

The video shows an expansion with presets for these oscillators... Does anyone know where to get it?

and unless you block sentry database from writing so it always stays at 0 it will send shit whethter you like it or not - they even have a separate account for you.

The poster before said that the OSC pack was for ONE/37.

I contacted support about it. Apparently, they only rolled the expansion out to MPC Key 37 G2 and MPC One G2 users.

They acknowledged this mistake though and they did send me the preset expansion manually. So expect an update coming that makes it available for all MPC users. If you can’t wait for that, just contact support. "

I term of sound design and particularly drum design I'd prefer 4 layers but with envelope for each instead of 8 layers imho. Maybe keep keygroup edit with 8 layers ans drum track edit with 4layers with their envelope.

Wow, with the oscillator update im playing far more with the keygroups and bring back one of my biggest problems with the MPC since day 1, the voice stealing algorithm tha kills notes being played, i only hope that the update brings mora visibility with the problem.
