Do the One G2 + Key 37 G2 have access to the internal disk?

I asked if with future update they will change this management, and this is the reply from Akai support


"As for the factory content directory itself, this will not be visible in controller mode in a future update. The reason this directory is not visible in controller mode is to prevent users from accidentally deleting the content. This was a common problem when the MPC Live III and MPC XL was released."

This decision probably stems from the old thinking of "I wanna start from scratch and delete everything" and for these new machines, THIS AINT THAT but people did it anyway, fafo.

Won't it also mean you won't be able to copy expansion content onto the internal drive without taking the device apart to get at the disk? While I get it... feels like a slightly weird move to prevent new users from mucking up their system but also will likely prevent advanced users from taking advantage of the internal storage for certain use cases... curious to see how they implement the change though.

They should've never give access to such vital file without clear written & video instructions of what to keep & what to you can delete. Back in the day there were protected files that couldn't be deleted, which would've solved many issuses.

what i use ssh for:
- custom bootscreen (just for fun)
- projects/exports/oscilators/expansions/audios transfer (including backups) over wifi (my unit isn´t near a pc and will never be) its part of the concept for me.

i dont need ssh for the sake of having ssh.
