Using MPC Live III on a Mac Book Pro

Hi all,

I used the MPC Studio to produce tracks on the Mac Book Pro with the MPC Software.
I now have the MPC Live III and I'm using it as a standalone (as it is).
I have the MPC3 software installed on my Mac Book. I'm wondering can I use my MPC Live 3 with the software on the computer to produce.
Also, can I send the projects that I've produced on the Live III hardware to the Live III software on my computer?

i believe the Live III now does class compliant audio over USB directly (previously you had to go through a mixer or other audio interface to multitrack). so yeah, should be simple enough to set up (personally I prefer Logic Pro on the mac as my DAW, though the new updates to MPC desktop look like they're making an effort to bring it closer in parity with Logic)

Ok got that. I use Cubase and I'm not even worrying about that yet on bouncing project stems etc. I am trying to figure out how to use the MPC III hardware to control the software on the Mac. I actually can use the MPC Studio with the MPC 3 software on the Mac but not the MPC Live with the MPC 3 software on the Mac.
I've had the MPC Live III for 3 days now.

I figured it out. There is a disk icon on the Live that allows you to toggle between standalone and controller mode.
