Looks like inMusic didn't buy Izotope...

Originally all the press releases said Izotope had been acquired by inMusic as part of the Native Instruments deal, but apparently this is not the case:

What about Plugin Alliance? No mention on their web site.

That's interesting. Was looking forward to some iZotope tech to show up in the MPC LOL!

The coordinated transaction occurred alongside inMusic’s acquisition of Native Instruments, completed on June 30th, 2026. Previously, iZotope was part of Native Instruments.

Maybe inMusic had to buy iZotope, but looked immediately for ways to sell it.

iZotope has only a few FX plugins and no samples to use, so maybe it doesn't fit for inusic in their business scheme.

I reckon that all of them are way too CPU heavy for the MPC platform.

Yeah, like other plugins, I figured they may use the tech and make MPC versions, instead of a direct port. Not complaining though, Boris isn't a bad move overall, I can see why they did it.

Thanks for pointing that out. Wondering what this means for the Izotope Native Access integration.

I assume that in the long run iZotope plugin authorization will change again.
