Installing MPC software on Win 7.

My studio pc runs Win 7 Ultimate and does not get online.

When trying to install 2.9 (the last I believe that works with Win 7) it will not run in full mode. I downloaded it from Akai Pro and I have valid serials for both the Live II and Studio Black. It accepts neither.

Can this not be installed without an internet connection? I couldn't find any documentation on it. Thanks.

Try MPC Software 2.9, I believe this is the last one that works with Win 7, otherwise try 2.8, 2.7 etc until you find one that works - info on how to obtain older versions of MPC Software:

As for MPC1000 support, it can export PGM and SEQ files, but with limitations (e.g. doesn't covert 24 bit samples to 16 bit, doesn't rename long samples into 16 char format etc). It can load MPC1000 pgm, prj and SEQ etc.

I've been in the same boat as these folks.

MPC 2.9.0 installed just fine on my win7 ultimate version laptop. I haven't been able to register it just yet though. The zip file was available via this internal link: viewtopic.php?t=213078

This MPC Beats version 2.12 did not work though.
