I cannot think of any FM synth that is quick to program and doesn't have a lot of options ;)

I can:

:-D
but its not for sale, and not strictly fm but a more complex 3d modulation.
you can see the interface briefly at the end of the video
iirc it was designed for 4 × 4 knobs including fx
reminds me that I could revive the project
- can the mpc send midi cc with the q-link knobs?

That what macro are. You can assign 100s of parameters the any of the different macros like knobs, XYFX, Pads, touchstrip & crossfader... The 2 project macros both have 16 knobs & can assign any of the assignable parameters across the project & the track is 16 knobs per track. You can quickly assign a parameter to all 128 pads if you have Edit All on while using MIDI-Learn. Once again, macros are the way!

have to look into this.

for now I have an other problem,

I bought opx, but I cant activate it in MPC One 2.15.

"Could not validate license from server ( license status 8. )."

And the help bot hallucinates something about iLok when I ask support.

The product shows in my account, however.
