i dident know they produced on the go. i thoght they had like a fat bank where the producer selects beats from.

Beat was coming together, but it means little if the artist is looking at ya crazy and ain`t feeling ya groove. But I can see Pharrell really getting into it singing the hook and explaining the concept. The girl was talking on the phone, not even listening to the hook very unprofessional. Stuff like that would piss me off. I see everybody has to be patient with their artists in the before and after the hit song.

If the song is release then you would see her in interviews saying that I love Neptunes music and how they bring out the best in their artist. Go figure

Spose it can work both ways....Maybe that was a writing session that turned out well. Finished product is nice (Vinyl)

Theres a few ways it can work...U can have a stack of beats u let people pick from....U can make something for someone specific, or u can go in and build it on the fly and see what happens

Maybe she was kinda intimidated by the camera and the situation.

she didn't come very well on the song, she didn't sound in place with the beat, and it's her fault for not listenin to the producer. beat was hot though.

I think she just young and doesnt really understand the real work involved in making music. Some young artist wont think its hot until the entire product is finished and done for them. They really dont care about the building process. But Pharrell says it himself that a lot of artist young and old listen to their tracks then look at the Neptunes like they crazy!! But then the joint goes platinum. I think that's what's goin on here. She doesnt see the light at the end of the road and does trust him and the idea for the song!

Having said all of that..B!tch could've just been tired!!!

That is what he uses. HE used the same thing to make "Allure" off of The Black Album.

It aint vanessa, its a chick named Tasha Ramos. I have the song, its called Midnight Hour, and its real tight!

I think that song blows, that chick was so badly overdubbed and she's so not into it on the track. The lyrics are also really lazy, beat is right tho.

Yeah song sucked ass with her singing the hook. Pharell should of stayed on for the hook. I really don't like the way the mixdown was performed.

Thats the best video I have seen of that type the artist just wasn't into what was going on at all that's sad especialy when you have producers on that level doing your stuff. Tight Tight Video hope to see more like it.
