meaning it will work, but you will not be able to remove or insert the card
while the MPC is on.

What do you mean whith that? If I change my floppy with the card reader and I swich on my mpc with a card in i can use it until I save all my work and switch off the mpc? like an internal HD? What do you think?

"Utilizing the IDE/ATAPI interface, this card reader is as simple to install and use as a hard drive."

this is in the link posted...

So it's possible to put 2 card (one for slot) and use them like 2 harddisk when mpc is on? Removable only when off?

for me it's enougth if it consist only on switch it with the floppy drive...
for my mpc2000 I think is the best thing I know for storin my data if it work

IDE/ATAPI card reader will NOT WORK in mpc 2000 classic. Only mpc2000xl with latest os.

And there is a nice post in my first signature link for this subject.

Do you think in that post there is somthing about that i've asked???
They are all talkin about mpc2000xl I suppose, maybe I'm wrong cause I'm not american...
Or do you think that I didn't read them before I post my supposition? Sorry if I've made some question man but I think that more one man know, more he want to know, so more i do search and read post more I've question what i want to make...I'm in wrong?

So i think that like the link in the other post say the only things that can work in a mpc classic is external scsi...
What about Harddisk limitation? how many Mb can you use whit the 1.72 Os?
I hope this aren't stupid question for how knows the answer...
