CONNECTING 8-OUTS TO MIXER

IM A NEWBIE AT PRODUCING, I HAVE AN MPC 2000 & JUST REALIZED THAT I HAVE THE 8OUT IN THE BACK, I JUST GOT A BEHRINGER EUROMACK MX 1604A MIXER BUT DONT HAVE A CLUE ON HOW TO HOOK IT UP. I DONT KNOW HOW TO SET IT UP ON THE MPC EITHER. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Have u got 1/4 " jack audio leads?

^If so,connect them to the corresponding numbered ins.1-1,2-2 etc.
Out of the mpc into the mixer.

WHAT GOES IN MUST COME OUT.

OK I GOT SOME CABLE SO I CONNECT THEM 1-1, 2-2, FROM MPC TO MIXER ETC., THEN WHAT DO I DO ON THE MPC TO SET UP?

You have to assign a sound to each track and then go into the mixer on the mpc to track one at a time.

mixer screen, press individual, at the top of the screen set each sound to a different number, 1-8.

You will probably have to combine some sounds on the same output.

STILL CANT DO IT, I CONNECT THE MPC STERO OUTS TO THE MIXER STREO AU RETURNS RIGHT, MAYBE MY SH*IT IS HOOKED UP WRONG, MAYBE THE 8 OUT IS MESSED UP OR MAYBE MY MIXER IS DONE TOO.

First you need one of these cables.



You connect all 8 connectors into the back of the MPC and then to channels 1-8 on the mixer. No need to use the stereo outs.

This is the 8-outs. You should see all 8 connectors on the back of the MPC.

MPC outboards outs to Mixers line in's - U only have 4mono channels tho...Uknow that right? To use MPC's stereo outs, route to stereo pair on mixer. Eg channel 5/6 on ur mixer (thats a stereo pair).

To use stereo channels on ur mixer as mono, hard pan a pair

SO GET THESE CABLES THEN IM IN BUSINESS RIGHT? ARE THESE A SPECIAL TYPE OF CABLES?
