loading samples into memory

Is there a way to load several samples into the memory without assigning them to pads, so later you can set up different programs and then assign them to pads on the MPC200xl

U MUST assign them to a pad. There is no way around it. Afterwards, u can assign the pad as NO SOUND but the samples will still be in memory though. Hope that helps...

Yeah! You could save all samples/sounds to the MPC and then later assign them to a bank/pad. Just press save without assigning a pad and you should be good.
