need to convert .snd files

Does anyone know of software that can convert .snd files to .wav files

are you trying to convert the sounds in your mpc to .wav? cuz you can choose which way to save them as in there. just when you save a sound is defaults to saying mpc2000, but you can switch it to wav.

I got a cd rom from a friend of mine and about 60 of the 500 sound is .snd and the rest is .wav ..... I just keep a back up of all my sounds in .wav on the computer for archives.

why dont you just load them into the mpc, convert and then save them again to put back into the computer?

They got some freeware and shareware programs to try out for converting audio formats for all Operating Systems.

Awave Studio Batch Converter 8.0 is one of the best. Cool Edit Pro Batch Converter , Sonic Foundry Batch Converter are all good.
