question bout 1000 vs 2000xl

is there really any sound difference between the 2?
i have a 2000, but having a usb connection would be great and was just wondering if there really is much difference between the 2 machines.

wha about the midi?
does that mean i can't hook up a keyboard to it like the 2000?

there are a million topics on this forum about 1000 vs. 2000

basics:

1000 has more RAM, more stock outputs, stock fx, bigger screen, USB, CF Card, is faster and is smaller

2000 has timestretch, zoning and a few more sequencer features.

all general MIDI function is the same. so yes, you can hook up a keyboard to it.

yeah i know there have been discussions but i would get like a million results in the search that were not applicable to this question. so thanks for the response.
