Internal SCSI ZIp drive

I got two SCSI External ZIP drives. One, I accidently burnt the motor in it by pluggin' the wrong power supply up to it...that was smart And the other one is makin' this click sound, and i aint gettin' my sounds. Oh! no! I need a SCSI ZIP that I can install internally...speak back!

ask them if that extra bulky sleeve thing can easy be removed... if so... that looks like a good cheap purchase...

good lookin' on that info...i just purchased one...they said its a 50pin...i'm goin' to take the floopy out and put the SCSI in...word...now i can get back to work...

I may be wrong mane but I dont think the internal scsi can handle removable drives. then again, I may be wrong.

what do you mean... he's lookin' for an internal scsi zip drive... those aren't removable(meaning you can't just yank it out and walk away with it).... in his thread he stated that he had EXTERNAL zip drives connected to the EXTERNAL scsi slot....

since he's had bad luck with the external he's gonna chill with an internal one.

I meant the internal drive bus on the mpc can't handle removable drives mane. And like I said mane, I could be wrong.

thanks a lot fellas...good lookin' out...thanks for the clarity x-...i see what you sayin' tho' Swiss-...what i'm lookin' to do is install an internal ZIP permanately and be done wit it...i should done this at the beginning...word is God!-yo!...no doubt!...its all good...you learn...i didn't know they had removable ZIP drives...that'll be fresh if you can use that for MP- ...speak back...

Did the original poster ever state which MPC he was using?

oh yeah...i'm usin' the 2000xl...i just went into it and i saw where it does have an internal port for the SCSI...i should be gettin' any day...i got a place here that has the cable for it as well...FRESH!...again, good lookin' x-thanks-ha!

Seems to me it would be much easier to get an internal ATAPI Zip for the XL. These can still be purchased new with warranty unlike the internal SCSI ones.

...dats cool, but i just went on ahead and copped the internal SCSI...cost effecient and al'lat...thanks for the advice tho'...by the way, hows the 3000...i've seen a picture of one...i like the color, black...but anyway, how is it...i wanted one years back...are they still available...
