help with production

IM STILL NEW TO THIS SO I WAS WONDERING HOW WOULD U MAKE THE BEAT IN A PROCESS. LIKE DO U EDIT A SAMPLE THEN SEND IT TO THE MPC AND GO OVER IT WITH THE BASS AND EVERYTHIN ELSE. OR DO YOU MAKE THE BEATS ON THE MPC THEN FIND A SAMPLE TO MESS WITH IT OR SUTTIN . HELP THANKS. LIKE WITH SEQUENCES HOW MANHY SEQUENCES DO U NEED A SONG OR CAN U JUST HAVE ONE LONG ONE. AND WATS THE BREAK DOWN FOR MAKING A HIP HOP SONG COMIN WITH INTRO MIDDLE AND END. AIGHT. THANKS

turn of the caps your making it hard to read, 1st off it starts with me listing through records, sometimes this will take a few hours to find something to mess with. Next, I load the sample stright into my MPC, I have cool edit, but I like to go stright into the MPC. If its a stright loop I will edit it so it will loop and then just add drums. Most of the samples that I use I will filter out the bass and use that for the bassline, if the sample doesn't have enough thump, I will add bass from either basstones I have on the MPC or from my ASR, or 1080. Then I will vary up the loop with things I take out the sample. If its chops I will just play the chops over some drums until I get somthing that grooves to my likeing. There is no set forumla, all there is, is pratice
