Sony V6 ($89), supp'd to be identical to 7506, but I am having my doubts.

Like using them out the MPC...they sound GREAT but not accurate for mixing if used alone.

Sony v700 as well. Mostly for dj-ing though. Rocksolid, and they sound alright.

I got the sony V-600. I like them alot , but the the best ones are supposed to be sony 7506. the specs are pretty much the sam on both pair. They have good lows and crisp. the make everything sound good so i don't think they would be good for mixing or mastering.

AKG k240 headphones. Excellent cans with cristal clear sound. They have a flat response which makes it real easy to mix with.

Paid $76 off ebay, brand new.

gotta add my 2 cents on the 7506s. i use these at the studio i work at. they are great. they also had them at the last studio i worked at. i wouldnt use them for djing cuz they are a little less sturdy than the mdr v700s, but i would definitely use them in the studio if had to have 1 pair. so if you dont dj, hook those up fo sho. $120 at most places but worth every penny.
