so whats the diff between the s900 and s950?
are there digital AND analog samplers? if so, what are some good analog ones.... i think my price range would b bout a G..

p.s. yo binger, u think ur a5000 is top notch? alot to offer compared to others? plus i read a review on it and it said that it DID have realtime timestretching? does that just mean u still have to go into re-sampling?

oh and i dont think it has realtime time stretch. it says on there under the resampling section. Its a bad ass piece of gear though. peep japan, afreaka, ashford on my soundclick for some tracks i did with it recently.

I haven't found a Hardware Sampler that could match a PC based sampler(kontakt, intakt or editing programs(soundforge etc...) the only hard ware i've seen do real time time stretch was Eventide h 3000 effect. If u can use Pc or Mac to edit then send to Mpc for beats

I am already starting to see the people who sold their hardware for a software set up coming back in droves!!!!

in analog, electrons make the sound, the waveforms you see in your editor are basically the shape of the electricity moving in the machine. Digital is stepped, and it crunches numbers and spits out numbered sound.
