whats up man? first i think the bass is a bitt too heavy. its not that it distorts or anything but on the speakers it sort of over does it. i can appreciate how this beat is totally different the then original. still needs a bit work. im feelin the verse part but when the hook comes in it dosnt impress me that much. and when he says one mic it's kind of off. but i know from experience remixing a nas song is not easy. keep at it.

Love the drum pattern. I prefer the chorus to the verses, the playing during the verses are kind of heavy handed. I'd try panning some of the instruments too, right now it's smacked right in the center.

I like the beat as a whole but the song selection of One Mic..... imo it didn't go with the beat. the timing is off in more than one part of the song. if you used a different acapella or just left the beat as instrumental. it would sound a lot better.

i agree. the beat has hella potential tho. maybe bring up the sample at the hook. sounds like theres something else going on in the bottom of the sample but u can barely hear it. the beat gets a 3.3
