Go to sample trim/loop page of your sample.
Next if your display is set to rectificed go to View press window change view to bipolar and you can turn the fill off if needed. I do anyway close the window.
After that go to Trim block and move the start and end to about one cycle wave of the sample after the attack where the sample is steady and sustaining use your shift and block keys to get your zoom right.
Next once you got one cycle picked out drop to the play mode and change to loop the loop point should be set with the trim points.
After that you can either use your loop start and end to adjust by ear until it is a steady tone matching your sample or like me press window on your loop start or end and use the wonderful automatic loop finder by setting the window to start or end and pressing find. This is in the ref manual by the way but all current samplers and audio editiors have this function.
Once the loop is made also press crossfade to take out any clicks. If you want to tune the loop for a different key use the loop tune which will make it different a bit from the key of your sample. This way you can use any sample to many pitches to fit the key of your keygroup A, C, or F.
Small Note* If you set the loop to alternating you are on the start to making a sample based oscillator see (get it oscillate) which is (alternating current which is the frequency and ampiltude) on your merry way to Substractive Synthesis.
