arrgghhh........ Mac users that run Recycle..

aight...

i know recycle isnt supprted by osx.
my macG4 boots up in osx, but can be run in classic mode.
when i try to install recycle, it boots up classic mode and then once its running, recycle just freezes for a bit, then closes.
i can't get it to install and run properly whatsoever.
i was told to take the oms extension off, which i did.
same thing.

somebody, anybody help me..

According to the Propellerheads forum (the company that makes Recycle) it can't be run in OSX at all, whether in classic mode or not. If you have a Mac that boots up in OS9, then boot up in OS9 and reinstall the program. You'll only be able to use it in OS9, not the Classic environment. By the way, I agree, this sucks a$$. People have been complaining on the Propellerheads forum for years for them to make an upgrade for OSX, but they won't comment. Jerks.

my partner runs X & switches back to 9 to run recycle w/ n/p at all... hmm

how come recycle dont recognize the MPC 2000
i like using recycle
its kinda cool what it can do to phrase samples
i use it on a g4 os 9
but i cant link my mpc to recycle via midi threw my digi 001 i/o box
soon im gonna start a post
about the linking of all my components i hope you all will help with posts

as far as using OSX it not even an option
talk to me in 5 years when i have some money to spend on a g5 or a laptop
that runs OSX by that time im sure there will be a better OS

You can use the program. The MPC2000 can read MPC3000 sounds. Save your files in MPC3000 format and you should be able to get to work.

When will ReCycle be released for OSX?

This is on the to-do list, but unfortunately we can't yet say when it will be done.

In the meantime, if you make sure that the OMS extension isn't present in the Classic System Extensions folder and that you are only using the internal audio on the Mac, you can run ReCycle in Classic mode.
