Using 2 sequensers....

Has anyone got any experience on using the mpc together with a computer based sequenser program? In my case Cubase SX.
I find it very useful to make the basics om my mpc and then sample everything into the computer for arrangement and adding effects.
However when I want to play the softsynths in SX from the keyboard normally connected to the mpc I have to move the cables. has anyone got a better solution for this?
All input on this subject is greatly appreciated.

get a midi interface for your computer. they are pretty cheap if you only need a couple ports.

get a midi router box (or midi thru box) it will have 2 inouts and several outs, you select which input goes to which out with a switch.
