wav to snd convertor

what up I have a piece of pc software that allows me to set up .aps files from my pc for the 2000 but the 200 will not recognize the wav files giving me the "cannot locate insert disk location - retry/skip"

so I was wondering does anyone use any specific audio convertor my versions of wavelab, and cubase dont have that conversion filter.

can I use 2000xl .aps/pgm disks on my MP because the same message comes up and i just want to make sure that my OS is not on the fritz
