changing paramaters during playback?

is there a way that i could do this? like say i gat a drum loop, and i just hit play so it plays over and over....i want to change the way the hats sound, can i do this while it is still playing to hear the difference easier? then change the way the snare sounds while still playing?

If so yeah you can just go into Programs (Shift 6)......then hit the params screen (i think its F2) Then hit the pad of the snare that you want to change and you're ready to mess with the params.......ohh and press play if you havent already.....you can press play while in the params screen and it wont take you out of it...

so i hit play while or before i go to the params, then i just hit the pad where the sound i want to change is located, and do it up how i want it ? then the same with the other sounds too right? tight, tight....thanx brah...

You can hit play whenever you want......before you go into params or after.....and yeah....while your in the param screen you can change as many sounds as you want...so say you want to change the kick ANd the snare....just hit the pad that the Kick is located on....mess with the params, and then hit the pad the snare is on and do the same.....
