nothing wrong i hope.. but it loads and saves perfectly ...

dont know if this has anything to do with it but when my floppy used to make crazy noises i just redownloaded the latest OS and it worked fine after that

maybe it s getting old

some drives make a lot of noise before they become completely out of order

that maybe what s happening to your zip drive...

my external zip has been loud for a long while now and it still works so don't throw it out yet..

it works fine , the only thing is that it makes a lot of noize ..

This will happen with any device that has moving parts over time. Zip drives will go quicker than lets say a hard drive since you are constantly taking disks in and out and there are more moving parts. They go bad, you can just replace it with another once since they are so cheap... but eventually might want to go another route (eg mem card).
