Hello All,

How helpful are these "2000xl Instructional DVDs"? Example: http://www.samplekings.com/akai_mpc2000xl.htm I was thinking about buying the dvd set for $35-$40, but I was wondering if they are worth the money. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

I don't know much about these DVDs except I do know that there's no way they can give you as much info as a 250 page ebook with 400 audio samples (shamless plug). If you search this site, I believe there are some samplekings reviews that explain how detailed these dvd's are. If you go to the links in the banners at the top of the page, you can read about my ebook for the XL on MPC-Samples.com

don't do it the sample kings video is a waste of money. use your doe to get the info from this site. i ordered it for my 2000 classic and i knew things already that they were talking about. before i even had the manual i had no help. i just figure alot of things by trial and error. my own little tricks. the things i was doing when i first got my mp, i don't even do any more because of the manual and the site. read the manual, look at the forum and just be ready to get your game up. everything is here! :D
