the manual chapter 10 4-1/4-2 (saving)

ok, reading this and what i have gathered from everyone this is what i should do tell me if i am wrong.

1) save all sequences & songs (instead of programs and sounds)
chapter 10 4-1 pg157

then....

2)save sequence (the save the midi file) but do i save it as midi1 or midi2

No. If you save all sequences and songs you do not have to save the sequence again. Replace step 2 with save all programs and sounds. You need the programs AND the sequences to play the beat back.

ok, got it....sorry if i pissed you all off, ive got alot of equipment and havnt had this much trouble on any of it....thanks for all your help

before you turn the machine off

1) save .ALL (all sequences and songs)

2) save . APS (all programs and sounds) make sure you choose "Save with sounds" and also "replace same sounds"

that easy.
