Syncing my Akai MPC 60 II & Akai S950 sampler

I have an MPC 60 II with the 3.11 OS and I can't seem to sync it with my S950 so that the pads play the sounds I'm sampling. Its not the same as the old OS so I need some help from you experts. Any ideas?

Read the manual for 3.10 OS, that's the last one.
