changing .wav to .snd

I did a search cause I'm sure this has been ask before, but no luck.

I got some sounds I found on the net. I save them to a disk in .wav format.
Now I loaded them in my MP2kxl. Okay I can hear them and use them in a beat. I added them to an existing program I have. Now this program and disk consist of nothing but sounds saved as .snd. So I go to save the program and sounds and it wont save the program and say disk error. I assume this is cause of the .wav files. Do I have to change them to .snd. If so , how do I do that.

it will change them to .snd when you save from the MPC...... try another disc and resave. Sounds like the error might be with the disc and not the wave files.
