if you go through the different packs you can get a couple samples to test out in your mpc, they nice

and they don't cost as much as these other places that don't give you as many drums per packs

As a customer, right now I'm looking to get some new samples sometime soon and the decision comes down to
A: do I buy a sample pack from the company who's free kit I've been using for the past month and it's been working out nicely?

B: do I buy some untested sample pack where I've only heard a clicking noise from my PC?

Not trying to be a jerk I'm just tryin to help out man. Sometimes you gotten give a little for free to get business especially when theres alot of competition. Just look at Microsoft and those free web browsers ;)

But it's not a noise (!) - we provide full demos for pretty much all our packs in addition to one or two actual samples from the pack (this was done after we surveyed our customers for their preferece). These are tracks made with samples from the packs themselves. In my opinion, that's perfect for you to see just how good the samples are for you. I just went to our biggest competitor's site (the other one with 'MPC' in their name), and all they offer is an mp3 demo.

Trust me, we tried your suggestion in the past - sales were not better, they were worse. People just download the free samples, and then move onto the next site with free samples. We even got emails from people telling us they love our free samples, and can they have some more (for free) - kind of missing the point really...

In the end, we're not talking $400 for a samplepack here - were talking less than $20, so along with the MP3 demo and an actual sample or two from the pack, I think that's pretty good considering we're running a business!

BTW - we do give out free sounds sometimes via our newsletter, so feel free to sign up by creating a VIP account on MPC-Samples.com
