hey, i'm a 1000 owner who's planning to buy a 2000XL.

should i wait for the MCD (multi-card reader) version or pick-up an original XL?
do i need a built in zip or will a external zip do the job?
anyone using the analog filter thing and if so, is it worth buying?

main reason for making the switch is the timestretch, timeslice and zoning features and of course the sound.

please post some advice and help a fellow mpcer out.

thanks in advance for your responses.
mattskillz1000 soon to be mattskillz2000XL :-)

It's up to you.
I opted in replacing my floppy drive with a Zip 250 so I can edit most of my samples on my P.C. since it had a Zip drive also.

Please try the newbie forum, the search, web search and effectively help yourself. The topic of replacing drives is covered many, many times.

I have even seen several static web pages about it, with at least one of them my own.
