sampling motif 6 on mpc 2000

i am trying to sample drums from my motif onto my mpc 2000, but i am not getting any signal on the 2000. i have the quarter inch cables hooked up, but i have no signal. im thinking the problem might lie on the motif end of things also. if anyone is familiar with this setup, any pointers would be appreciated.

do you mean the cable outs, or internally?

the channels on the motif have to be the same as the mpc then you have to dicide which one will be the master or slave. The motif manuel give the best description. Also on the motif forum do a search and youll get tons of info on this. sorry I am at work and dont have his info with me so this is all i can tell you now. hint go in motif utility mode

Devious, I think he means sampling not midi.
First make sure your motif is working normally thru your monitors, not headphones!
If this is working fine, connect stereo outputs to MPC inputs, press shift and sample#4 on the keypad and adjust yur record gain button on the MPC as needed.
